Gable, the Masquerade knight.

This doll came as part of an eBay job lot and she was in very poor shape - tangled hair, no feet, wearing nothing but a Bratz Boyz shirt. What a difference some fancy clothes and a brush through the elf-locks makes. Cinderella, you  shall  go to the ball!

Bratz Masquerade vampire dolls.

Both my new Switch-a-Witch dollies,  sans limbs and with their wrong heads on. The eyes are splendid, especially the golden eyes on the pink doll.

I admit it. I bought another pair of Switch-a-Witch dolls. From America. At enormous cost.

My latest acquisitions - the Chic Mystique girlz. Recent additions to the Bratz range, they come with wings & masks.

Moonlight Beach Cloetta Spelletta doll. She glows in the dark! Unfortunately, like all the Bratzillaz, she has beautiful eyes but nasty, cheap hair.

Of course, a doll in Cleopatra costume has to have a mummy case as a backdrop. And I just happened to have one lying around. Don’t we all?

A reminder of how beautiful those Bratz dolls could be prior to 2010. The new ones aren’t a patch on this vintage gem with her pensive green eyes.

I’m acquiring enough doll-sized tchotchkes to make proper scenarios.

Another beautiful Bratzillaz doll with a hip joint that’s been wrenched out of true by the packaging & no longer works. Can somebody tell MGA, please?

Hot chocolate in the ski chalet!

This was the winter I hoped for, with icicles & a roaring fire & doll-sized snowmen. Instead, the UK had a disgustingly mild winter & this Bratz scene was the nearest I got to snowy frolics.

This Barbie has a shameful secret hidden under her skirt. She has no legs above the knees & no body below the waist - instead, there is a flat, bell-shaped, pink plastic box. I inserted batteries & eventually found that pressing her belt buckle plays a tune & sets off a firework display on her torso. Unfortunately, she has to be in shadow to photograph the lights to best effect, but you know what Barbie’s face looks like.
