Musical interlude from our Nukes.
[gallery] First pic - my broken Draculaura, who I used for a spare parts donor & then put in a bath with bubble-wrap bubbles to hide the horror. Second pic - as she is now, with CAM body. To get the head off, I just held the neck under the hot tap & pulled gently. I did not break the peg, as you see. Those how-tos on YouTube did not lie. Even a klutz like me can get the head off a Monster High doll! And a standard head will fit a Create A Monster body.  This is just the dummy run, of course. Plucking up my courage to attempt the rebodying of Dracula.

[gallery] I was never happy with my Three-Eyed Ghoul having the body of Ice Girl, even though it was the best match I could find. Then I spotted a batch of torsos & upper limbs for sale…

“So anyway, we had that Gandalf over for a party, and he crashed on the sofa. And now he just won’t leave! Has nobody told him that guests and fish stink after three days? He’s not even much fun at a party, to be honest. No social skills whatsoever. No small talk. I wish he’d just go back to Narnia or wherever it is he comes from. He’s behind me, isn’t he?”

“I’m not saying it wasn’t kind of you to buy it for me. I’m just saying it’s a house dress. A house dress! Practically a kimono. What, are you going to put me in fluffy slippers next? A pinny, maybe? Fine. Fine!   I’ll just sit here feeling hopelessly underdressed & frumpish.”

Clonella goes all street. Innit.

Apparently the  Create A Monster Ghost doll is exceptionally rare. I bought mine as part of a bundle; she was dirt cheap and a bargain. I’ve never seen another on sale, so I cherish her.

You can’t have too many of those Create A Monster witch dolls. From left to right: Norma Normal, Nukes, Clonella (Clones) & Brexie (Ms X).

Sometimes the camera somehow gets on the wrong setting and that’s the best picture of the day.
[gallery] Sometimes, bad things happen.
[gallery] Presenting the Three-Eyed Ghoul. I’m not even going to tell you how much I paid just for the add-on pack - I had to get it from America. Using an Ice Girl torso and upper limbs, as nothing else comes close to the right colour; Mattel needs to sort that, for us matchy-matchy freaks.

Every now and then I just have to fill up the Bratz pool and take it into the garden with some dolls. This is a Monster High siren made with the upper half of the sea monster doll.

Another faceless doll.

Decapitated dolly.

So glad I found this small pumpkin in a charity shop. It’s just the right size.

Hallowe’en is coming! I gave my mascot, Nukes, new hands to celebrate.

Vampire plays keyboards. This is supposed to be a werewolf doll, but she makes a far better vampire.

I actually bought a Moxie doll (which I still haven’t taken out of the box) just to get my hands on the brolly that came with it. I’m not proud.

Photobombed! One of the dangers of photographing dollies in public places.
