You could take the little yellow and black beanie to mean that I’m supporting the local team, the Tigers, in today’s FA Cup - “Come on you ‘Ull!" 

Or you could assume that I bought it because the colours evoke the or à la croix de sable of Gilles de Rais’ coat of arms.
